The company Cinkarna Celje processes Zinc which results in excessive emissions of harmful substances (heavy metals - Zn and Cd), which is now contained mainly in the soil and dust. A lot of that harmful substances was emitted in the past, that is why the local environment needs a revitalisation project. Local civil iniciative tries to draw attention to the problem and to speed up the process of adopting necessary solutions.
